I sure loved the Words and the photo. Made me smile and rejoice. Thanks much.
thanks for your visit joanne:) i was thinking harvest. little did i realize that 1/2 the country would be under snow this weekend! wow! i’m trying to hold off on my snow pictures until december:)
When I read your post I immediately thought of Elizabeth’s post this week. The common thread between your posts is peace. And I get to comment right after her. I love the synchronicity of themes, it really feels intentional. Sort of like Gods way of putting us all on the same page before the week begins. Thanks for sharing 2 powerful scriptures. Needed them both.
after i read your post today lisha, i tho’t that was something you might find meaningful…even tho’ the theme was working on me from earlier in the week. it is so comforting to know that Jesus brings peace in the middle of storms. that is stunning!
yes, elizabeth. that is what came to mind on friday for my 5 minutes. (the word was still) i thought of jesus calming the storm when the disciples tho’t they were going to die! for today, i just continued with the peace theme:)
our pastor resigned last sunday rather unexpectedly. we are reeling a bit from it…but not as much as the members who have been there a few years. they have weathered a church split and seem to have survived it and started to stabalize.the tho’t of more change for the church is painful at a deep level i think.
i’m sad for them. we got here after the split. didn’t go through all the pain of it.
anyway, i’m sad for the church but know it will grow thro’ the transition. always seems to happen.
Peace is on my heart and mind this week too!
