Do you ever feel stuck in a hole? Either stuck in your situation and you don’t feel you can find a way out of it? Or stuck in a rut of some sort where you keep repeating the same mistakes over and over and never seem to learn from them?

It’s easy to feel that way. It is often difficult to find a way out of your maze that has left you feeling stuck. What do you do to get out of your rut?

Of course, you can pray for GOD to show you a way out. Pay attention to those who don’t seem to be in the ruts you are in and ask them what they are doing…or not doing. They may be able to give you some wisdom.

Pay attention to GOD’s Word as you read it. GOD will show you from His Word…as well as through sermons and other places where you are studying it within the community of believers. Ask Him to open your eyes to ways you need to change, and give you the grace to do it!      stop

For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly,
but because of him who subjected it,
in hope
that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together
in the pains of childbirth until now.

And not only the creation, but we ourselves,
who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,
groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons,
the redemption of our bodies.
For in this hope we were saved.
Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?

But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness.
For we do not know what to pray for as we ought,
but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Romans 8:19-26 ESV

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

 II Corinthians 3:17-18 ESV
PS. I considered freedom to be the opposite of being stuck or in a rut. That may make my choice of verses a little more understandable.
***Today is Five Minute Friday and the word is “stuck.” We are a group of writers who write for 5 minutes and that is it. We aren’t supposed to correct or edit our writing. I can’t leave misspellings or sentences that make no sense, but otherwise, I stick to the rules. Well, often I go beyond 5 minutes too, but I let you know when the 5 minutes was up.
