And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation and the power and
the kingdom of our God and
the authority of his Christ have come,
for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down,
who accuses them day and night before our God.
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and
by the word of their testimony,
for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Revelation 12:10-11
When I read this passage, I had to pass it on! This encouraging passage, written by John, conveys to us that wonderful day when the full salvation, power, authority, and Kingdom of GOD comes fully into play. It will be the day when Satan, the Accuser, the one who has accused us repeatedly over the generations, will be cast down!
His final and complete defeat by the blood of Christ, will be finished! All of heaven will be rejoicing. The thought of it even now is mind blowing! Imagine! No more accusations. That voice that tells you what a mess you are, that reminds you of all the failures in your life? It will be silenced forever!
I’m not talking about the voice of Christ reminding you of your sin so you will repent and come to Him for forgiveness. This is the Accuser, driving you to discouragement and hopelessness that change can ever come. That anything can improve for the good. That sin and failure can be redeemed and forgiven.
The Accuser wants you to think there is no hope for redemption. He wants you to think there is no forgiveness for failures or wrongs done in the past. He will finally be put in his place where he can live…in the dark…with those will live with him forever. In a place of eternal hopelessness, depression, gloom, and evil. There will be no parties there. It will not be fun. It will be a very miserable place to be…without Christ and any of His influence.
The Kingdom of GOD will have come fully into power in heaven. Thinking about what that will be like is a truly glorious thought!
Take some time to think about what heaven will be like with Christ (and His attributes) present.
Think about what it will be like to be without the Accuser’s influence…what will be missing?

I’m a Revelation addict. Always like to have the verses used in a way to reach out to many, many in our world. Thank you.
hi joanne:) yes, i like reading revelation in that way too. so much of it is clear and written about things that are very clear and understandable. the more difficult to understand passages make many stay away from the whole book which is a mistake! much of the book is very encouraging and teaches a lot about living the christian life!
Yes. AMEN!!! So many don’t, but we obviously certainly do. The Lord has me in Revelation [and Jude, BTW, just b/c it’s so glorious], and the prophetic Books. He often has me going through them so I’ll hear and see so much that has hit our overall small areas and the whole world. I’m on target nearly every day. AND, as “Jeremiah” being my spiritual name [I blogged about it], fits right into me with the sorrowfulness. Anyhow, thank and you are a blessing.
