For those of you that see my facebook page or my Pinterest page, you probably saw some recent children’s dresses and skirts pinned.
Last week, I incorporated a couple of them into one dress. The pillowcase dresses are easy to make and have a variety of looks to them. I found a pattern on Pinterest that had an elastic top instead of the tie top which tends to fit rather loosely on Mia. (The tie option is on that same site.) I also added the flower which is a variation of this one.
She is tall and wiry like many people in the family. She loves to wear skirts and dresses because she can twirl them! Something she does frequently, preferably to music!
I found one style of pillowcase dress that has ruffles so I combined 2 “patterns and made a dress for her the other day. She chose the fabric from a few choices I gave her. Naturally, she chose the one that had princess fabric!
I thought you might enjoy seeing her photo.
Can you tell she takes ballet?
