here I am
at this point in history
at this point in my life stage
i am here!
GOD has a purpose for me
right now, right here.
the over-arching purpose?
to glorify Him & enjoy Him forever.
so simple, yet complex too.
what does that even look like…or mean?
to make Him look good by my lifestyle.
yet also find true enjoyment in Him?
I understand that will happen in heaven
when my values will be lined up better than they are now.
but that enjoyment starts now!
it will just be better, richer, deeper, more enhanced
and without the impediments of sin that i have here?…
when i am in heaven
and Jesus will be right there
face to face.
WOW!
that will be awesome…in the true, full sense of the word! stop

Thanks for your post, Martha! You’re right, to glorify God sounds very complex and very abstract. And yet we need to ‘translate’ it into daily life. What I have learned is that I can only be myself, the broken, flawed self and let God’s grace burst through that.

that’s certainly true. but making Him look good because I’m His child…that is a way we glorify Him. the part GOD’s grace plays in this is that He enables us to do this…by His grace. so true!
