“I have loved you with an everlasting love;I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Jeremiah 31:3
But the steadfast love of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children’s children,
Psalm 103:17
In overflowing anger for a moment
I hid my face from you,
but with everlasting love
I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord, your Redeemer.
Isaiah 54:8
What then shall we say to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare his own Son
but gave him up for us all,
how will he not also with him
graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:31-32
In the waning hours of Valentine’s Day when we have been thinking a little more about love and what it means, I have been reading these Scriptures to remind myself of the love GOD has shown me.
An everlasting love…by a Redeemer…who draws me with His unfailing kindness. One whose love is steadfast, kind, compassionate.
Whose anger lasted for a moment (when it was vented on Jesus on the cross?)…and now flows out in compassion toward me.
He is for us! And if that is true, we don’t need to fear others who might be against us. They are unimportant…and if He is for us, will He not also give us all things needed to live life? Yes!
Of course, these were only a few of the verses I came across, but they were very encouraging as I thought about His love for me…and you.
I’m a very grateful lady since He has been indicated to be everlasting to everlasting. I can hardly wait to see and meet Him. On my heart!!! Thank you for the photo and for sharing the Words. Bless you…
you and me both joanne! yes, it will be amazing to meet Him, won’t it? 🙂
Thank you. Always makes me smile when I am appreciated and agreed with. Blessings.
Lovely post. I think the verse I need to hear every day is in Isaiah 41:10 about how He knows me by name and promises never to leave me.
