Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough to say to people who have given their lives to protect our country and our people. Grateful, appreciative?
Still not enough. I don’t think words are enough to show how we feel toward those who have given up their lives…or life as they knew it before their injury.
Today is the day we make time to thank them…to honor them.
Everyday is when we show our appreciation. By how we treat them and their families. By how we offer aid, support, love…whatever is needed.
It cost them everything. Maybe it needs to cost us something too. Just sayin’.
