Last night I went to write my Five Minute Friday post and discovered she is taking the month off. Oops! So I decided to make up my own FMF word and write on it. It isn’t as much fun without everyone else, but I think I’ll enjoy this word.
Into a dark world
very quietly
Light arrived.
One night
in Bethlehem…
in a busy, overcrowded town.
Very few people noticed.
There was no drama.
Just a man, his young wife who were looking for a room
and shortly after they found room in a barn…
a brand new baby.
In Bethlehem, there was very little todo.
But out in the fields where the shepherds were?
WOW! The angels were showing up in droves!
Singing glorias, praising GOD and telling those shepherds
that Messiah had come!
The dark sky was bright!
Light was here…after all the years of waiting. STOP
Darkness would never be as dark.
the Savior of the world had come.
Are we looking for the Light this Christmas?
He is in our world.
Are we are wanting Him honored in the ways we want
and don’t see it happening?
We can be as Scroogy as those who don’t honor Him at all!
Those of us who love the Light can live out Truth.
Not everyone will live it out the way we do…give them grace to do it differently.
We can be joyful because Christ has come!
Light has come to dispel darkeness.
Rejoice!
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,
“I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12
