Hello friends! It has been a long time since I have written a regular post here. For the last month we have been in Jamaica in the 1970’s.

For 6 weeks before that, I was working through a writing series with a group for two days a week. It took most of my writing time for September and part of August.

Then we took some trips to visit grandchildren…total fun!

We took some trips to Seattle and St. Louis to see grandchildren the end of September and beginning of October. I even snuck in a long weekend with some girlfriends at the beach in October after that!

To say that my house is a mess and I am behind on just about everything is quite an understatement. But it was all worth it.

This month will be spent getting some order in my life…including planning for the blog

November will be “catch-up” month for me. I have to clean, decorate and bring order to a number of areas in my life, not only my house!

Then I will be ready for winter! I have some plans for the blog coming up…including updating my photo! It is out of date for sure. I will let you know when I have them lined up better. There have been a couple of books I have loved, a topic I almost did the 31 day series on that I want to explore further as well.

I have even been introduced to some great products that you will love…and I won’t benefit from showing you at all! so typical.

Interesting days ahead…

If you haven’t read the 31 day series on Jamaica, you may want to read it. It has a little bit of everything. I don’t know how long I’ll have it up. I’m going to put it in an e-book and see if I can support my expensive blogging habit.

So we have some interesting days ahead. I have even come across some old posts that I love and want to share with you. Life seems to keep moving on and changing doesn’t it?

It seems we need Christ, our church community, our family, our friends, more all the time doesn’t it?

That’s a good thing…the need for others. I have found GOD seems to bring circumstances into my life that push me more into making use of that need instead of more into being independent. That is good too!

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens,
but you are fellow citizens with the saints and
members of the household of God,
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,

in whom the whole structure, being joined together,
grows into a holy temple in the Lord.

In him you also are being built together
into a dwelling place for God
by the Spirit.
