Real…
Gritty…
Worn…
Wrinkled…
Threadbare…
Frayed…
Down and dirty…
These are just a few ways
to describe real.
In real life, it often looks like
messed up schedules…
undusted furniture… STOP
lots of laundry…
a listening ear…
not having all the answers…
but knowing Who has them…
learning how to love and forgive.
Learning to see people for themselves, not always looking on the outside.
Learning to be the same on the inside as you are on the outside.
Real is learning to be who GOD made you to be…
and bringing glory to Him!
Yes, it’s Five Minute Friday again!
- It’s a time when we write for five minutes…or let you know when we get carried away and go longer!
- We link our post to Gypsy Mama‘s blog.
- Then stop off at the person before us and leave an encouraging word for them. We can stop at any others for fun too!
- That’s all it takes. Come join us.
worn, wrinkled and frayed…those terms describe me many days when life has beaten me down. Whew. Beautiful post!
thanks casey:) glad you stopped by again. drop by anytime.
Hi! I popped over from the Gypsy Mama blog. It’s interesting…what you wrote here echoes my thoughts, about finding the messy joy in the midst of the hard stuff…the real stuff…of everyday life. Blessings to you!
